Who we are, and why we exist

A federally incorporated non-profit working so that AI serves the communities it usually leaves out.

Who We Are

BrainTrainr is a federally incorporated non-profit and a nimble, largely volunteer-based organization that is Indigenous- and Latino-led, grounded in the 4Rs: Relationality, Reciprocity, Responsibility, and Respect.

We work to break down barriers to AI knowledge and digital skills — especially for marginalized and equity-deserving communities, including newcomers and refugees, Black communities, women, Indigenous peoples, people with disabilities, and others facing systemic exclusion.
